Why do you WANT the Olympics in NY?
Down with the Olympic bid! (I won't get tickets anyway)
Bloomberg thinks great cities host the Olympics. I look at the list of recent hosts (Montreal, Los Angeles, Athens, Atlanta, Seoul) and, respectfully conclude that he is on drugs. Those are not great cities. Those are strivers. Social ladder climbers.
There are perhaps 4 great cities in the world. Tokyo. New York. London. Berlin, and they sholdn't be getting down in the mud to play with the likes of Atlanta or Sydney.
